Terms & Conditions
1. General Provisions
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the luxury chauffeur services provided by Tokyo VIP Chauffeur ("Company", "we", "us"). By booking our services, you ("Client", "Customer") agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Booking & Reservations

Online Booking: All reservations must be made via our official website, email, or designated messaging apps (LINE, WhatsApp, WeChat).

Confirmation: A booking is considered confirmed only after the Client receives a written confirmation (email) from us.

Advance Notice: We recommend booking at least 3 days (72 hours) in advance to ensure vehicle availability.
3. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made in writing (email or messaging app). The following cancellation fees apply based on the local time in Tokyo (JST):

14 days prior to service date: 100% Refund (No charge)

7 to 13 days prior to service date: 50% Refund

Less than 7 days prior or No-Show: No Refund (100% charge)
4. Payments & Fees

Base Fare: Includes vehicle rental, driver fee, and fuel.

Excluded Costs: Highway tolls (ETC), parking fees, and admission tickets are not included and must be paid separately (cash or credit card) based on actual usage.

Overtime Charge: Any service extending beyond the booked hours will be subject to an overtime surcharge of ¥3,000 per 30 minutes.

Payment Methods: We accept major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX) and bank transfers. Full payment is required to secure the booking.
5. Passenger Conduct & Safety

Prohibited Acts: Smoking (including e-cigarettes) and illegal drug use are strictly prohibited inside the vehicle.

Seat Belts: All passengers must wear seat belts in accordance with Japanese traffic laws.

Damage: The Client is responsible for any damage to the vehicle interior caused by them or their guests (e.g., spills, vomiting). A cleaning fee may apply.
6. Luggage & Pets

Luggage: We are not responsible for any loss or damage to luggage or personal items left in the vehicle.

Pets: Pets are allowed only if declared in advance. They must be kept in a carrier or cage at all times during the ride.
7. Limitation of Liability

Delays: We are not liable for delays caused by force majeure, including but not limited to heavy traffic, accidents, severe weather (typhoons, snow), or road closures.

Flight Delays: For airport transfers, we monitor flight status. However, if a delay exceeds a reasonable waiting time (e.g., 2 hours) without prior notice, it may be treated as a cancellation or incur waiting fees.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising out of these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court.
